Fun read on the Joker. It reaffirms my beef with Netizens, such as those who voted Dark Knight to best picture evar on IMDB (i.e. Guys, this story's been done. For decades.) But otherwise, it provides a nice guideline for creating strong, iconic archetypes in our own works. :Þ
Theoretically, Bill Watterson purposely planned it so that parents of young kids will be able to appreciate Calvin & Hobbes as well (just saying...) ~^
Wait, why did I do that? It wasn't on purpose!
It almost has that so-silly-it-works feel? An actual anorexic with the appellation 'Annie' would probably have it bad as far as teasing goes (it's astonishing how much my peers and I teased everyone for their names in grade school.) At least I can say we were never quite as evil as the children from Lucy's flashback in Elfen Lied. ,__,
