I'm figuring out I really like a fun version of an archtype rather than "literary" fiction. I started reading A Princess of Mars and I'm like, "To me, this is a lot more worthwhile than any of those short stories I read." I'm a little sad.

It almost has that so-silly-it-works feel? An actual anorexic with the appellation 'Annie' would probably have it bad as far as teasing goes (it's astonishing how much my peers and I teased everyone for their names in grade school.) At least I can say we were never quite as evil as the children from Lucy's flashback in Elfen Lied. ,__,
