The law is ... actually more of a principle than a law. It comes from this comic where one woman said she only watches a movie if 1.) There is more than one woman in it. 2.) They talk to each other. 3.) About something other than a guy.

While I don't mean to say that a movie is automatically bad because it doesn't pass this law. (12 Angry Men is one of my favorite movies.) A lot of movies don't pass the test or only just pass it. (Like this movie, Miri talked to three women but the only time she didn't talk about Zack was when she was talking to Jen Schwalbach Smith's character, who basically just gave them the stickers.)
