Well, there's the old, "You can lead a slasher to the sex advice guides, but you can't make her use them" chestnut.
(I need to one day talk about how even the best sex/writing advice guides sometimes contain crap. Sort of like an "Advanced Slash Guide for Virgins" thing. But that's a whole other entry.)
I still really, really, really, really want to finish Death Note, even if I end up hating it. The first three volumes were a blast.
And yeah, I do know that. Most of the complaints were directed at women though, so ... [shrug]
