A few quick things ...

I tried out my apartment complex's pool and rather liked it. :-)

I saw a family of skunks today! They just were walking in a big black-and-white ball and went into a bush. It was SO COOL. I have never seen that before and wish I had taken a picture. I bet the person who ends up on all of their bad sides won't like it but still ... FAMILY OF SKUNKS!

I'm reading P.G. Wodehouse (Jeeves stories) for the first time. I'm finding that I mostly smile throughout the stories, but every once in awhile I read something that makes me laugh for about two minutes straight. Bertie saying that Jeeves was omniscient like a ticket train seller and him seeing his supposed vegetarian teetotaler acquaintance come home drunk and went "Oh my God, he ate meat!" were two of them.

I am soooo jealous. I love skunks but I just get to smell them. I've never actually seen one. D: AND WITH BEBBIES.

Well, they weren't exactly bebbies ... all of the skunks looked pretty big, so it was more like Mommy (and Daddy?) Skunk taking her surly teenagers on a field trip. But I definitely counted five or six skunks all walking together in a bunch. Very cute.

And I'd never actually seen one either up until yesterday, so I was really surprised!
